A cue is like an extension to your arm for many players. Some people keep their's for years while others replace them every 6 months. How long have you owned your current cue?

  New talent wanted...

...if you're good enough (or want to be good enough), and enjoy pub pool at its most competitive, then we'd love to have you playing for us at The Pineapple PH next season 2010-11.

We finished 5th in the league this year, which allows us to claim, unofficially, that we are the 'Best of the Rest'.
The top four places being divided up between JFK teams and Union Jack teams.
We had a hard core of players this year which gently diluted by November, leaving us having to fight hard in every game for points. We hung on, and finished the league with some pride, style and fingernails.
Matches are on Tuesday evenings, 8pm until about 10/10.30pm.

The Pineapple is an 8 minute walk from Waterloo Station and 2 minutes from Lambeth North, so we're very easy to get to being very central.

We are the longest serving team in the League, having joined way back in 1995 when the league was first formed. The season starts late Sept/early October, so there's plenty of time to get involved. There is also a Summer league about to get underway, so that'd be a good time to introduce yourself.

Look forward to welcoming you.

I'm moving offices to Southwark Street in the New Year. Is that near?

Hi Sarah,

Hope all's well with you.
The Blackfriars Bridge end of Southwark Street is about 1.4km / 0.9m from The Pineapple. If you're at the London Bridge end, then either Northern Line to Elephant and step up one stop on the Bakerloo Line to Lambeth North - that'll take no more than 10 mins, and the pub is a two minute walk from the station; or, Jubilee Line to Waterloo and it's about an 8 minute walk from there.

Either way, you're more than welcome here.

regards

Peter

I'm good thanks Smiling

I'll be at Bankside - so nearer London Bridge. Sorry I'm of no immediate help but I'll be in touch once I've moved.
