RECRUITS WANTED!! Waterloo League rides again...2011/12
All pool players,
As all seems well with the world, now that the pool season is underway again, and as usual, the hunt for new talent and team members continues.
So, if you know how to play the game, and want to improve in what is London's most competitive pub pool league, then step up. The league has a broad range of talent from good pub level players to senior internationals, including the current World Junior Champion, Frank Costello.
The Pineapple has had a team in the league since the start in 1997, and want to keep acting as a feeder team to the league by bringing in new talent, teaching them the mystic ways of World Rules Pool, and then bashing up the bigger boys in the playground, while still trying to enjoy it all. We're very easy to get to being close to Waterloo Station. We have pub players up to County level players, so plenty of in-house talent to challenge.
We had a great start to last season, staying in touch with the lead until the last few matches.
